Finally, two days ago I got my FCP back after half year of silence. I feel like with arms now, and have finished two videos in one day.
Some of functions were not working properly for such long time and after several trials of reinstalling FCP; simple resolution was found- language setup (non-English) on my PC troubled my program.
I can't imagine better birthday than editing videos all morning and afternoon! I have missed it soo much.
Hurray!

Hearing that some people still follow my blog, decided to update it with some more news.
This is my short experimental film The Father's Tree (2012). It has been screened in six different film festivals in Europe, where some of festivals asked for this film on their initiative. And two days ago also officially screened in England, MKFN, where I had to give a short intro speech about this video.
I am also able to finally post Betty Wolfe online: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLtRxJh4E9M&feature=relmfu
(Other film still to bee screened in festivals therefore not yet for publication online.)
Just to let you know I am not screening here works that have been made for companies, decided this to be only independent film and photo blog.

Have not write in my blog for quite a long time, it means I have been busy working on other film projects. Have finished my Special Project film 'Betty Wolfe' for University that is now participating on some of the film festivals at London, Amsterdam and Germany, therefore won't be for exhibition on internet for a while.
I am adding a picture from my degree film show - part of the crew and actors who helped to bring this project to realization. Many thanks to all.
Now fingers crossed Betty Wolfe will make to the screening at film competitions and shows as well.
(Also I have been working on other film project with my University tutors, film is now on its post-production process.)

This is a video from 3rd year of studies. Was a great fun to create this film as I got a chance to finally try a hand in F/X with Motion and Photoshop help. :)
(At the moment quality for this video is very poor but I am getting better quality video hopefully soon and will change this video then..)

Especially I am very proud with a bubble scene that I created for one week. (Love this actress ;) and actor, they worked together professionally.)

Promotional work: 'Ramblings of and Old Man'
Ramblings is a kaleidoscope of sophisticated Hip Hop that, under Michael’s direction, explores themes of old and new through the dreams and memories of an old man. The dance is performed with a live music track and projected background images.
Michael plans to use the resulting DVD to advertise his new dance company and gain new bookings for performances and educational workshops.
Here can see a storyboard 1st page, 1st version* that I made for this video before shooting. (At first my team thought to use 3 cameras at one time for simultaneous shoot. But in practice, while rehearsing, it was not quite possible because of the small location and background projections, that were not good for different angles for camera placements. We end up shooting with two cameras, one cam on track.) See the result and let me know what you think about this video.
P.S.: Sorry, I have squeezed videos quality to minimum and sides of the video are missing. You can see also full size of video on youtube.com- following the same title 'Ramblings of and Old Man'.
